KSOP Senior Administrator

About the role

We are a professional services firm providing third-party retirement plan administration services for companies that sponsor Employee Stock Ownership (ESOP) and 401(k) Plans. We have offices across the United States and are the leading ESOP recordkeeping and administration services firm in the country.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of administration for an assigned block of plans.
  • Consult with plan sponsors and advisors regarding plan related matters.
  • Calculate employer contributions (including cross-tested contributions).
  • Perform all annual compliance testing.
  • Calculate and process refunds (including 415 refunds).
  • Complete Form 5500, Form 5500-SFs, and Form 5330.
  • Aid clients with the correction of operational issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of A-Z administration experience required.
  • Experience working “unbundled” with national daily recordkeeping platforms required.
  • Experience with ASC, Relius, Datair, or FT Williams required.
  • Experience with Pension Pro is a plus, but not required.
  • ESOP/KSOP knowledge required.
  • Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and the ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Self-starter, details oriented, motivated, excellent organization, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
  • KSA professional designation desired or willingness to obtain.

Qualifications

  • Must be authorized to work in the US.

Skills

  • Knowledge of ESOP/KSOP.
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.
  • Software proficiency with ASC, Relius, Datair, FT Williams, and Pension Pro (if applicable).
