About the role

LanguageLine Solutions is hiring interpreters to work remotely from home. We offer a competitive pay rate of $0.75 - $0.90 per minute and provide training in the best industry practices.

Responsibilities

• Handle interpreting sessions promptly and professionally
• Render accurate translations of conversations between limited-English speakers and English speakers
• Adapt to various industries including healthcare, insurance, finance, and law
• Ensure confidentiality and respect cultural differences
• Work in a variety of settings including 911, first responders, and court services
• Provide support through a Senior Language Specialist and Interpreter and Technology Help Desks

Qualifications

• Krahn and English fluency with cultural understanding
• Excellent listening, retention, and note-taking skills
• Ability to handle sensitive topics and emergencies
• Education or work experience in language-related fields preferred
• Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to read and write in both languages highly preferred
