KP STAR Coordinator – Mentorship & Wellness Advisory

About the Role

The KP STAR Coordinator will support the Kaibigang Pilipino (KP) STAR Program by facilitating mentorship initiatives and wellness advisory services for the community. This role focuses on coordinating mentorship pairings, organizing wellness activities, and providing advisory support to enhance the overall well-being of participants.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage mentorship pairings between mentors and mentees within the KP STAR Program.
• Develop and implement wellness initiatives, workshops, and activities tailored to the needs of the community.
• Provide advisory support to participants on wellness, personal development, and cultural engagement.
• Collaborate with program stakeholders to assess and address the needs of participants.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of mentorship and wellness programs, providing feedback and recommendations for improvement.
• Facilitate communication between mentors, mentees, and program leadership to ensure alignment with program goals.
• Maintain records of program participation, feedback, and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience in mentorship, coaching, or advisory roles, preferably within a community or cultural organization.
• Strong understanding of wellness practices and their application in community settings.
• Excellent organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a passion for supporting diverse communities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Familiarity with Filipino cultural values and community dynamics is a plus.
