About the role

We are currently seeking talented individuals to join our growing team of Optometrists and opticians in both full and part-time roles at Heartland Vision's Kokomo location. No prior experience is necessary and if your skills match a role, we'll be in touch.

Responsibilities

• Assists customers with selecting their perfect frames, understanding their insurance and more.
• Interprets prescriptions to advise on care and use prescription contact lenses, prescription eyeglasses & sunglasses.
• Makes measurements for optimal fit and style.
• Performs eye exams, writes prescriptions for eyeglasses and contacts, prescribes medications, diagnoses and treats diseases, and manages pre and post-operation care.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Optometry degree from an accredited program.
• Current license to practice optometry in Indiana.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Store Hours: Monday - Sunday, 8 AM - 6 PM
