Knowledge Systems Specialist Intermediate (SOCOM)

Job Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Work independently and as part of a development team identifying solutions to provided requirements and work closely with customers to ensure proper solution.
• Implement, manage, and support Knowledge System Tools.
• Leverage Power Business Intelligence capabilities in SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 and other selected platforms to build dashboard reports.
• Provide knowledge about various platforms from End User – Power User perspectives.
• Document roles and responsibilities and provide training to End Users and Power Users.
• Develop, design and manage content, customizations, forms and custom workflow in selected platforms.
• Convert legacy workflows and reports to new platforms.
• Utilize new data sources and new BI solutions.
• Collaborate with users and stakeholders to define business requirements, goals, risks, and technical scope for SharePoint Online solutions.
• Develop SharePoint apps and collaboration tools, including lists, libraries, surveys, calendars, web parts, workflows, PowerApps, and InfoPath, while integrating with Microsoft products and enterprise solutions.
• Administer SharePoint Site Collections, including permissions and access management.
• Create and manage reusable content types, site columns, lookups, and templates.
• Design scalable site structures for directorates, divisions, and branches.
• Maintain consistent navigation, manage search scopes, and develop project and document dashboards.
• Maintain and optimize the SharePoint environment by reviewing content, managing landing pages, monitoring usage and workflows, addressing dormant sites, researching new capabilities, and coordinating site migrations with the Knowledge Management Officer.
• Provide Tier 1 support and promote user adoption.
• Train users on SharePoint functionality, provide training resources, and collaborate with trainers to ensure knowledge systems training aligns with organizational needs.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related area
• Active Security + Certification
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience (SharePoint)
• High-level written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with PowerApps
• Active SECRET security clearance

Skills

• Rudimentary application skill with Python, R, SQL, .Net, C#, C++
• Experience with JAVA, JS, HTML, and CSS

Pay

$65,000 - $75,000
