Knowledge Manager

About the role

Create and manage knowledge articles using BMC Remedy Manage knowledge articles on a variety of topics, including technical Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for a variety of technology areas.

Responsibilities

• Utilize SharePoint and assist with transfer of the knowledge base fully into Remedy
• Identify gaps in the knowledge base and help write out the missing knowledge
• Work with the teams to create training for the various areas as well as self-help options
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Education/Training: High School Diploma, or equivalent required
• Experience: Associate's Degree in management or other relevant discipline preferred, 1+ years of professional experience in the required task area
• Experience: Experience with BMC Remedy or Microsoft SharePoint
• Technical Knowledge: Demonstrable understanding of technical domains, Technical knowledge in Networks, Applications, Unified Communications, Servers, or Cloud preferred
• Technical Writing Experience: Preferred
• Leadership Experience: Preferred
• Security: Must be a US citizen Candidate must be in possession of a minimum DoD issued Secret Clearance

Physical Requirements

• Able to occasionally reach with hands and arms
• Prolonged periods of computer screen use, while sitting or standing at a desk
• Adhere to safety protocols when in work areas requiring use of PPE (e.g. eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, steel toed shoes, etc.)
• Able to safely lift and carry up to 20 pounds at a time

Schedule

Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 Salary rates for this position are competitive and commensurate with experience and industry standards. We offer a comprehensive benefits package that may include health insurance, paid time off, and retirement savings options.
