Knockout Attendant 6pm-2am

About the role

Saputo is a top 10 global dairy processor committed to making high-quality products, investing in its people, and supporting communities worldwide. This position involves operating a knock out machine, manually filling brine tanks, and performing various tasks to ensure product quality and compliance with food safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Operate knock out machine
• Knock out manually into brine tanks
• Complete appropriate data entry/PLC machine set up
• Maintain 701 or 704 washer chemical concentration
• Conduct aseptic cheese sampling
• Operate natamycin bath and maintain concentration
• Operate punch machine and metal detector
• Handle and use cleaning chemicals appropriately
• Monitor and complete punch machine needle checks
• Stack aging baskets

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; one to three months related experience and/or training; ability to read and understand instructions; proficient in using a computer; solid organizational, analytical problem-solving, and communication skills; ability to follow good sanitation and housekeeping practices; compliance with food safety policies; adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Qualifications

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills

Ability to read and understand instructions; proficiency in using a computer; solid organizational, analytical problem-solving, and communication skills; ability to follow good sanitation and housekeeping practices; compliance with food safety policies; adherence to GMPs and SOPs.

$26.15 per hour in the USA.
