Evening Facility Attendant

The Evening Facility Attendant delivers working-level operational, custodial, and customer service support to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for event organizers, patrons, and visitors at Western Park. Serving as the primary on-site resource during evening hours, this role assists renters with venue access, event adjustments, and policy compliance while operating essential facility systems (HVAC, lighting, sound) and heavy equipment (tractors, skid steers) for setups and grounds prep. At the end of the shift, the Attendant completes post-event walkthroughs, verifies the building is vacant, and secures all entryways, climate controls, and access points for the final facility closeout.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational, custodial, and customer service support at Western Park during evening hours
• Serve as the primary on-site resource for event organizers, patrons, and visitors
• Assist renters with venue access, event adjustments, and policy compliance
• Operate essential facility systems, including HVAC, lighting, and sound
• Operate heavy equipment, including tractors and skid steers, for setups and grounds prep
• Execute custodial care
• Set up and take down event furniture
• Identify hazards and report maintenance needs
• Complete post-event walkthroughs at the end of the shift
• Verify the building is vacant and secure all entryways, climate controls, and access points for final facility closeout

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• At least one (1) year of experience in customer service, facility operations, custodial work, or event support
• An equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted

Pay

$16.40 per hour
