Kitter I - 2nd shift

What You’ll Do

The primary function of this position is kitting assemblies/parts for the production lines, providing expertise in coordinating the material, including but not limited to, verifying, recording, and routing. This position will service Production needs by kitting material and maintaining part storage rack organization and availability.

In This Function You Will Kit materials accurately by verifying: Quantity, Part numbers and Purchase orders Use inventory and warehouse systems such as AS400 and Vista Collect and process Kanban cards Complete rack audits and stock-out scans Support material flow to production lines Maintain warehouse organization and storage locations Apply continuous improvement (CI) methods to material handling processes Respond quickly to urgent production and supervisor requests

Crosstrain and Support

Crosstrain and support the Material Handling team during absences and vacations

Qualifications Required (Basic)

• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous materials or warehouse experience
• Experience using AS400 Inventory and material management
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Warehouse organization
• Computer proficiency (AS400, Vista, Microsoft Office, Internet)
• Independent work capability
• Strong sense of urgency and customer support mindset
• Continuous improvement mentality
