Kitchen Steward (Swing shift)

General Accountabilities

• Clean dish room, plateware, and kitchen areas
• Stock plateware and silverware to all restaurant venues
• Perform periodic maintenance and cleaning of dish machine
• Empty trash bins, collect, and remove waste from the floor and work surfaces
• Separate and properly dispose of recyclables and grease
• Supply dishware to food preparation stations and remove soiled dishware and equipment
• Maintain cleanliness of work area at all times
• Perform miscellaneous duties such as polishing silver, working in storeroom, and preparing for banquets and special events
• Maintain organization and proper rack stacking, silver presoaking, and dish machine operation

Qualifications

• Six months to one-year experience in housekeeping, janitorial, and stewarding preferred
• Great organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to stand, lift, walk, bend, and stoop throughout shift
• Commitment to safety guidelines
• Ability to excel both independently and as part of a team
