Kitchen- Prep Clerk

About the role

This position involves preparing and displaying food and products in a department, ensuring freshness, rotation, and stock levels. It requires excellent customer service and adherence to company policies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and display food and products in a careful, clean, neat, and expedient manner.
• Ensure all products are fresh, rotated, and well-stocked for customers.
• Maintain great customer service.
• Work with customers and assist them with product selection and transactions.
• Follow company policies and procedures, including food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Monitor and maintain appropriate temperatures in cooler and display areas.
• Operate and clean department equipment and tools.
• Restock and use supply items efficiently, eliminating waste and maintaining low costs.
• Clean work areas and present a favorable impression.
• Report any incidents such as associate theft, customer shoplifting, unauthorized markdowns, or property defacement to management.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Successfully complete company training program and food safety course.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Able to work a schedule based on store needs.
• Authorized to work within the U.S.
