Kitchen- Prep Clerk

About the role

This position involves preparing and displaying food and products in a department, ensuring freshness, rotation, and stock levels. Excellent customer service is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all product is fresh, rotated, and well-stocked
• Provide courteous and attentive service to customers
• Follow company policies and procedures, including food safety and sanitation
• Operate and clean department equipment
• Restock supplies and maintain cleanliness
• Report any issues to management
• Monitor and maintain proper temperature in cooler and display areas
• Handle customer transactions courteously and satisfactorily
• Assist customers with product selection and answer questions
• Participate in team building activities
• Adhere to the "Cleaner's Creed" and proper sanitation procedures

Requirements

• Must be 18 years old
• Successfully complete company training program
• Completed a course in food safety
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Able to work flexible hours based on store needs
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Physical stamina for standing, walking, and bending
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment operation and maintenance
• Good interpersonal skills for customer interaction
