Job Summary
We are a premier luxury cabinetry firm design-build remodeling showroom, serving the Aspen to Vail Colorado areas. Looking for a creative, tech-savvy Cabinet Designer specializing in kitchens and bathrooms. In this role, you will take residential projects from initial client consultation through detailed technical layout, ordering, and final installation support. You are the bridge between the client's dream aesthetic and a structurally flawless, buildable reality.
Primary Responsibilities
- Client Consultations: Lead client design meetings, present floor plans, and assist with material and fixed finish selections.
- Space Planning & Rendering: Develop highly accurate, functional kitchen and bath layouts, 3D renderings, and elevations.
- Order Engineering: Generate comprehensive installer-ready blueprints, technical specifications, and factory-ready cabinetry order sheets.
- Estimation & Sales: Prepare transparent project cost estimates, proposals, contracts, and sales documentation.
- Project Coordination: Partner closely with field superintendents, general contractors, and cabinet installers to handle field measurements and troubleshoot site adjustments.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of [2 to 5] years of proven experience designing custom or semi-custom residential kitchen and bath cabinetry.
- Software Proficiency: Expert-level mastery of industry software like [2020 Design / Cabinet Vision / Chief Architect / AutoCAD].
- Technical Knowledge: Deep familiarity with standard architectural symbols, MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) clearances, and residential building codes.
- Accountability: A proven track record of maintaining zero-error accuracy on complex, high-value cabinetry product orders.
- Communication: Outstanding verbal and written client-facing presentation skills.
