About the role

The Academy of St. Matthias the Apostle is seeking a passionate and dedicated Kindergarten Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. The ideal candidate is committed to fostering a nurturing, structured, and engaging learning environment where young learners can grow academically, socially, and spiritually. This is a full-time role and will report to the Principal.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum that supports academic, social, and spiritual growth.
• Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching strategies and student outcomes.
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to improve teaching skills.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to support their child's education.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• Valid state teaching certificate or eligibility to obtain one.
• Experience working with children in a formal educational setting preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a team.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $45,000 to $60,000 with excellent benefits.
