Kids Ministry Assistant (Temporary)

About the role

The Christ Fellowship Kids Ministry Assistant provides support and care for every aspect of the Kids Ministry area. This is a full-time, hourly (non-exempt) temporary role from mid-September through mid-December.

Responsibilities

• Select and equip a volunteer team so they can thrive in their assigned roles on the Christ Fellowship Kids team.
• Ensure weekend and midweek resources are prepared and distributed in preparation for the weekend experience.
• Support weekend and midweek programming as directed.
• Contribute to Central Team initiative development and implementation as directed by and in cooperation with Central Kids Directors and team.
• Attend weekly staff meetings and department meetings as directed.
• Serve as a PHASE expert.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a kids' ministry environment, either as staff or volunteer.

Schedule

Full-time (40 hours per week), hourly (non-exempt), including weekends and some weeknights. Tentative timeframe: September 21 – December 19, 2026.

Reports to: Kids Ministry Coordinator.
