Kids Ministry Assistant (Part-Time)

JOB SUMMARY

The Christ Fellowship Kids Ministry Assistant provides support and care for every aspect of the kids ministry. This is a part-time, hourly (non-exempt) position, working 20 hours per week.

JOB DUTIES

• Selecting and equipping a volunteer team for their assigned roles on the Christ Fellowship Kids team.
• Ensuring weekend resources are prepared and distributed in preparation for the weekend experience.
• Serving as a PHASE expert.
• Supporting weekend and midweek programming as directed.
• Contributing to Central Team initiative development and implementation as directed by and in cooperation with Central Kids Directors and team.
• Attending weekly staff meetings and Department meetings as directed.

EDUCATION

• A degree in progress; a focus in education/ministry is a plus.
• Experience with 1 year in a kids’ ministry environment, either as staff or volunteer.

• Classification: Part-time, Hourly (non-exempt) position, working 20 hours per week, including weekends and some week nights.
