Kids Club Team Member -GOLD'S GYM - Highland

About the Role

The Kids Club Team Member provides care for children while parents workout in the gym, overseeing and supervising all children through independent and group activities, and keeping them occupied. This role ensures a safe and engaging environment for children, supporting their emotional and social development.

Responsibilities

• Care for children in a defined area of the gym for attending members.
• Organize and participate in recreational activities, such as games.
• Read to children and engage in activities like painting, drawing, handicrafts, and singing.
• Provide care for children with disabilities, including securing them in equipment like chairs and slings.
• Maintain security records on individual children, ensuring all have a registration form on file.
• Follow security procedures for checking children in and out, verifying parent identification.
• Organize and store toys and materials to maintain order in the Kids Club area.
• Perform housekeeping duties and sanitize toys and play equipment.
• Support children's emotional and social development, fostering understanding and positive self-concepts.
• Interact with children in a positive and age-appropriate manner.
• Help plan weekly art projects with the Kids Club team.
• Complete necessary paperwork, including supply sheets, incident reports, and check-in/out manual sheets.
