About the role
The role is responsible for managing the university's IT infrastructure and ensuring smooth operations.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the university’s network systems
- Provide technical support to faculty and staff
- Implement and update security protocols
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware and software purchases
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, and network management
- Experience with cloud services and virtualization technologies
Qualifications
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and diagnosing technical issues
Skills
- Technical proficiency in networking and server administration
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices
