About the Role

We’re looking for a passionate Keyholder to join our Wicker Park team, bringing strong beauty or skincare experience and a customer-first mindset to create memorable, elevated in-store experiences. You’ll also play a key role in supporting the team on the floor—leading by example, inspiring others, and helping drive a positive, high-performing environment. This is a 24-hour-a-week part-time position (4 days).

Pay

The anticipated hourly range for this position is $18 to $22. Exact hourly rate depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Hourly range may vary based on geographic location.

Responsibilities

• Greet all customers who enter the store with enthusiasm and professionalism reflecting DECIEM’s vision through excellent service.
• Determine the customer’s needs and suggest relevant products by listening to the customer and sharing product knowledge acquired during brand training.
• Ensure standards for quality, customer service, and health and safety are met.
• Adhere to the DECIEM experience and deliver unparalleled customer service.
• Educate customers about the world of beauty and skincare, DECIEM brands, and products.
• Act as floor supervisor in management's absence to ensure store procedures and steps of the experience are being followed.
• Assist in the onboarding, training, and development of new employees.
• Manage customer feedback and queries.
• Assist in maintaining store standards of cleanliness and organization.
• Be aware of and assist in maintaining DECIEM’s merchandising concepts.
• Ensure tidiness standards are always respected and maintained.

Requirements

• Love of beauty products and a passion for skincare.
• Comfortable engaging customers and applying products with the customer while providing consultations.
• Ability to multi-task while providing professional and outstanding customer service.
• Desire to thrive working in a team environment.
• Effective time management and communication skills.
