About the role

Labcorp is seeking a field-based Key Account (Sales) Executive to join our team in Raleigh, NC. The territory for this position covers the Raleigh, NC area, and the ideal candidate would reside in the territory. This role acts as the face of Labcorp, introducing services to prospective clients and engaging at all levels of business. You’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on people’s health while growing your career in a dynamic, competitive market.

Responsibilities

  • Educate, instruct, and upsell all assigned and newly generated accounts in an assigned territory.
  • Act as a liaison between the client and the Labcorp operations team to address client needs.
  • Provide ongoing service and problem resolution to the customer base to ensure retention.
  • Deliver superior customer service and recommend client-focused, persuasive solutions.
  • Manage day-to-day client operations and upsell the current book of business to drive organic growth.
  • Collaborate with senior sales representatives to expand the book of business.
  • Continuously provide educational materials to the client base.
  • Resolve customer-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Meet and exceed monthly retention and upsell goals.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma (required).
  • 3 or more years of previous outside sales experience or account management (required).
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
  • Proven success managing a book of business.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry (a plus).
  • Superior customer service skills with the ability to build trust-based relationships.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, competitive market.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Ability to travel overnight as needed.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Pay

Compensation is based on a candidate’s skills, relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, internal equity, and market data. The position is eligible for bonus and/or commissions under the applicable variable compensation plan, earned based on performance metrics.
