About the role

The Key Account Manager, Panels is responsible for developing and maintaining sales relationships with customers of Kronospan's U.S. panel business. This position sells the company's products through the use of technical, organizational, and customer knowledge to influence and assist the customer in their buying decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver sales presentations in a professional and effective manner by maintaining up-to-date awareness of company activities and products, industry trends, and customer and consumer needs
  • Research customer/consumer needs and develop strategies to effectively meet those needs
  • Maintain up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technical developments that effect targeted markets
  • Meet established sales quotas and revenue goals
  • Develop and maintain communications in a cooperative and professional manner with all levels of staff, plant management and associates, and customers
  • Act to close deals and finalize contracts
  • Aid in the preparation of quotes, contracts, and RFP/RFI responses for potential customers
  • Research and develop lists of potential customers
  • Create and maintain sales reports
  • Aid in order reception and other customer service duties as needed
  • Aid in planning and scheduling processes as needed

Qualifications

  • Follow up on sales leads and develop sales leads
  • Maintain up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technical developments that effect targeted markets
  • Meet established sales quotas and revenue goals
  • Develop and maintain communications in a cooperative and professional manner with all levels of staff, plant management and associates, and customers
  • Assist in the preparation of quotes, contracts, and RFP/RFI responses for potential customers
  • Research and develop lists of potential customers
  • Create and maintain sales reports
  • Aid in order reception and other customer service duties as needed
  • Aid in planning and scheduling processes as needed
