About the role
The Kentucky Department of Education (KDE) Office of Career and Technical Education (OCTE) operates 50 Area Technology Centers (ATCs) serving 115 local feeder districts. The Mayfield/Graves County Area Technology Center (ATC) in Mayfield, Kentucky is seeking a Machine Tool Instructor.
Responsibilities
- Teaches occupational preparatory classes within a career and technical education program.
- Performs other duties as required.
Requirements
The applicant selected for this position will become a member of the Teachers' Retirement System. Applicants and employees in this classification may be required to submit to a drug screening test and background check.
Qualifications
- Must hold the Rank III Kentucky teaching certificate in the subject area to be taught;
- OR Must hold a Kentucky Statement of Eligibility in the subject area to be taught;
- OR Four years of appropriate work experience, two of which must be in the last five years.
