Junior Varsity Football Coach

Seasonal, temporary position reporting to Mr. Shaun Redd, Athletics Director. Start date: Fall 2026.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the team operation
• Motivate students and instruct student athletes in game strategies and techniques
• Provide a positive role model and encourage sportsmanlike behavior
• Manage rosters, practices, and game schedules
• Maintain inventory, issue/receipt of uniforms and other required equipment
• Organize transportation
• Maintain required records, forms, and related data
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Knowledge of skills and tactics of the sport
• Coaching experience preferred
• Good communication and organizational skills
• CPR/AED/First Aid training (required before working with student athletes, at applicant/employee expense)
• Completion of the Coaching Education online course (required before working with student athletes, at applicant/employee expense)
• Completion of the Concussion Prevention Training (required before working with student athletes, free online course)
