Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering scopes including earthworks, grading, roadworks, underground utilities, and stormwater management across diverse site development projects.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including structural, geotechnical, and environmental disciplines, to ensure integrated and high-quality project outcomes.
- Perform technical tasks related to site layout, drainage systems, utility coordination, and surface modeling.
- Support the development of detailed design packages, including calculations, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Prepare and review engineering drawings and documentation based on design inputs, field data, and project requirements.
- Participate in site investigations, surveys, and data collection to inform design decisions.
- Assist in preparing permit applications and supporting documentation for regulatory approvals.
- Contribute to quantity take-offs and bill of materials for civil projects.
- Maintain project documentation and assist in tracking progress against schedules and budgets.
- Stay current with industry standards, codes, and best practices relevant to civil engineering and site development.
- Provide technical support to Senior Engineers and Designers throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- A recent or soon to be graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering
- Understanding of inter-discipline requirements for the tasks at hand.
- Familiarity with 3D modeling and 2D drafting, will train in 2D and 3D Bently applications
- Understanding design concepts for roads, earthworks, water management and drainage.
- Problem-solving attitude.
- Ability to work in a team-environment.
