Key Responsibilities
- Scheduling Support
- Aid in the development, maintenance, and updating of project schedules
- Support schedule updates, progress tracking, and basic schedule reporting
- Avoidance of schedule deliverables using Primavera P6 or similar scheduling tools
- Participate in internal and external project meetings as needed, providing schedule-related support
- Document Control & Project Controls Support
- Support day-to-day document control activities
- Logging, tracking, filing, and distributing project documents
- Maintain organized electronic filing systems in accordance with project and company standards
- Support correspondence, submittals, RFIs, meeting minutes, schedules, and other project records
- Avoidance of project controls reporting and administrative tasks
- Communication & Coordination
- Interface professionally with project managers, engineers, inspectors, and other project stakeholders
- Prepare basic written communications, logs, and reports with attention to detail and clarity
- Avoidance of coordination across disciplines to ensure project information is complete and current
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Controls, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Some exposure to project scheduling concepts and tools (Primavera P6 familiarity preferred but not required)
- Willingness to perform document control and administrative project support duties
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Internship or entry-level experience in project controls, scheduling, construction management, or engineering support
- Basic understanding of CPM scheduling concepts
- Experience or interest in document control or project administration in an AEC or construction environment
