Key Responsibilities
- Scheduling Support
- Aid in the development, maintenance, and updating of project schedules.
- Support schedule updates, progress tracking, and basic schedule reporting.
- Assist with schedule deliverables using Primavera P6 or similar scheduling tools.
- Participate in internal and external project meetings as needed, providing schedule-related support.
- Document Control & Project Controls Support
- Support day-to-day document control activities, including logging, tracking, filing, and distributing project documents.
- Maintain organized electronic filing systems in accordance with project and company standards.
- Absorb and distribute correspondence, submittals, RFIs, meeting minutes, schedules, and other project records.
- Support project controls reporting and administrative tasks as needed.
- Communication & Coordination
- Interface professionally with project managers, engineers, inspectors, and other project stakeholders.
- Prepare basic written communications, logs, and reports with attention to detail and clarity.
- Support coordination across disciplines to ensure project information is complete and current.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Controls, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Some exposure to project scheduling concepts and tools (Primavera P6 familiarity preferred but not required).
- Willingness to perform document control and administrative project support duties.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Internship or entry-level experience in project controls, scheduling, construction management, or engineering support.
- Basic understanding of CPM scheduling concepts.
- Experience or interest in document control or project administration in an AEC or construction environment.
