About the role
The Junior Project Scheduler will be based in Los Angeles, CA and will work within the education project construction sector. The position involves working closely with project, program, and client leadership to provide premier educational facilities for students and adults.
Responsibilities
- Work under the supervision of Senior Schedulers and Project Schedulers to provide construction schedule review comments for contractor-generated Baseline Schedules and Monthly Schedule updates based on LAUSD review templates.
- Aid the scheduling team in creating and populating various schedule related reports in Excel and P6 software.
- Create Earned Value Curves based on LAUSD EVA template guidelines.
- Perform QA/QC on contractors’ schedule submittals for conformance with contract scope and requirements.
- Analyze schedules for proper use of program level standard codes, layouts and reports necessary to ensure data integrity.
- Perform QA/QC on P6 program schedules and validate logic ties to ensure conformance with scheduling guidelines for various project types.
- Update the master program schedule with as-built start and finish dates while coordinating input from various Facilities teams on projected/forecast sequential start/finish dates.
Requirements
- Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or construction management is required.
- One (1) year of full-time paid professional experience responsible in scheduling for an Owner or General Contractor, preferably on multiple educational facilities or public works projects.
- Proficiency in Primavera latest version and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build efficient working relationships with project teams and department staff.
- Superior organizational and planning skills.

Pay
The salary range for this full-time role is $63,200.00-$80,066.68 per year.
