Junior Scheduler

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

• Develop, maintain, and execute project performance baselines.
• Prepare & disseminate aggregated weekly & monthly reports on cost performance, trends, forecasts and cost savings.
• Develop and maintain project schedules.
• Afford assistance in developing recommended recovery measures for projects behind schedule and/or over budget.
• Analyze variances in cost and schedule performance against the plan, and communicate the reasons for the issuance of variance and proposed mitigation plans.
• Review schedules developed by others and advise project managers as to whether those schedules are logical, complete, and satisfy contract requirements.
• Provide support for data analysis, data validation & data mining efforts required to refine benchmarks.
• Cover the review of Project Risk with management and provide status reporting.
• Support the Project Manager and project team in organizational and administrative activities.

About the role:

This role involves working closely with Project Managers and the project team to manage construction projects efficiently and effectively, ensuring they run according to schedule and meet financial objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Develops the Work Breakdown Structures for control and integrity of work to be performed as defined by the contract.
• Assists in development of recommended recovery measures for projects behind schedule and/or over budget.
• Analyzes variances in cost and schedule performance against the plan, and communicates the reasons for the issuance of variance and proposed mitigation plans.
• Reviews schedules developed by others and advise project managers as to whether those schedules are logical, complete, and satisfy contract requirements.
• Supports data analysis, data validation & data mining efforts required to refine benchmarks.
• Covers the review of Project Risk with management and provides status reporting.
• Supports the Project Manager and project team in organizational and administrative activities.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of project engineer, field engineer or scheduling experience on construction projects.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong technology skills to include Microsoft Projects and Primavera - P6 experience is required.
• Innovative, motivated, organized, high-energy team player with demonstrated professional & interpersonal skills interfacing with all levels of the organization, clients & vendors.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and quickly pivot in response to evolving priorities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree.

Pay:

Competitive salary ranging from $95,000 to $130,000 per year.

Schedule:

Full-time position.
