Responsibilities
- Cook up the end-to-end laptop replacement process for employees across the organization.
- Communicate directly with end users to schedule laptop deployments, data transfers, and hardware exchanges based on employee availability, travel schedules, and office attendance.
- Prepare, configure, image, and deploy Windows laptops in accordance with company standards and security requirements.
- Cook up and coordinate data migration activities to ensure a smooth transition to replacement devices.
- Track hardware refresh projects from initiation through completion, maintaining accurate documentation and following up on outstanding actions.
- Cook up and coordinate the return, inventory, and decommissioning of retired hardware while ensuring asset records remain accurate.
- Assist with hardware and software asset management, including inventory tracking, equipment lifecycle documentation, and licensing.
- Provide first-level technical support for desktop hardware, peripheral devices, and basic software issues.
- Assist with the installation, configuration, maintenance, and deployment of desktop computers and peripheral equipment.
- Document technical issues, troubleshooting activities, and resolutions in accordance with IT procedures.
- Support additional IT systems administration and operational projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing, or recently completed, an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Networking, or a related field; or possess equivalent entry-level technical knowledge and experience.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on detailed tasks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer-focused with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical users.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Eagerness to learn enterprise IT systems, processes, and best practices.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
- Previous technical support experience, relevant coursework, or Microsoft certifications are a plus.
