Junior IT Project Coordinator
About the role
Andromeda Systems Incorporated (ASI) is seeking a part-time Junior IT Project Coordinator in support of the IS&S Department in our Jacksonville, FL office. This position will be responsible for day-to-day entry-level technical and/or administrative tasks and will work closely with team members to develop skills in Project Coordination and Management.
Responsibilities
- Aid in developing project schedules, tracking milestones, and monitoring deliverables
- Cook up meeting agendas, distribute meeting notes, and track project tasks
- Schedule resources, coordinate among project team members, and maintain project documentation
- Identify risks, track mitigation activities, and communicate project updates
- Support coordination between technical and non-technical teams and help prepare presentations and reports
- Support data collection and analysis for project metrics and work on multiple software development and data analytics project work streams
Requirements
- Must be enrolled in, in the process of completing, or have recently received a college degree, preferably in computer science, management information systems, business administration, or related field
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Proficient with Microsoft 365 Suite
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, or Confluence
- Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile and Waterfall)
- Basic understanding of data analytics, databases, or business intelligence concepts
