Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate scope of work, site conditions, and client specifications to develop thorough estimates
• Use industry-standard tools to produce detailed proposals, factoring in labor, materials, and equipment
• Collaborate with business development and operations teams to ensure alignment across all phases of a project
• Present estimates to clients, responding to questions and providing clarification as needed
• Maintain client relationships with regular follow-ups and clear communication
• Enter and manage sales activity and pipeline data using CRM software
• Monitor market trends, pricing strategies, and historical job data to improve bid accuracy and competitiveness

Qualifications

• A strong team orientation with a humble, driven, and emotionally intelligent approach
• A desire to learn estimating within commercial construction
• Technical knowledge of painting systems and application methods is highly preferred
• Strong math, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• A clear and confident communicator—both written and verbal
• Proficiency with estimating tools and Microsoft Office suite
