Responsibilities
- Support planning, design, and implementation of environmental remediation projects, including dredging, capping, stream restoration, and wetland construction.
- Prepare engineering design documents, including drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and calculations.
- Contribute to technical reports such as sampling and analysis plans, feasibility studies, and design documentation.
- Perform environmental sampling of soil, sediment, and water samples.
- Provide field support for site inspections and construction oversight.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, scientists, planners, and biologists.
- Coordinate with contractors for review of submittals and response to inquiries.
- Ensure deliverables meet Anchor QEA’s quality standards.
- Occasionally travel for fieldwork, site visits, and project meetings (primarily in New England and NY).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental, Coastal, or Geotechnical Engineering.
- 2-5 years of experience in environmental remediation, including investigation, design, and construction.
- Strong technical writing and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
- Willingness to travel for field assignments and meetings.
Qualifications
- Preferred qualifications include experience with contaminated sediment sites and in-water remediation, sediment remediation projects, AutoCAD Civil 3D and GIS proficiency, and Professional Engineer (PE) licensure in MA or NY.
Skills
- Strong technical writing and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

- Experience with contaminated sediment sites and in-water remediation.
- Experience with sediment remediation projects (such as dredging and capping) and stream or wetland restoration projects.
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure in MA or NY, or on track to obtain within 3-5 years.
