Junior Data Analyst

About the role

Fly My Group is hiring a Junior Data Analyst to work across group airfare, airline reservations, ticketing, schedule changes, group traveler support, account service, and travel operations. This role is centered on analyzing business data and turning it into accurate reports, trends, and practical insights. It is a full-time, 100% remote position open to candidates throughout the United States.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze data connected to group airfare, airline reservations, ticketing, schedule changes, group traveler support, account service, and travel operations from approved spreadsheets, reports, databases, and business systems.
• Build and maintain recurring reports, dashboards, and tracking files for key performance measures.
• Investigate unusual values, missing records, and data inconsistencies and document the resolution across group airfare and traveler operations.
• Translate analysis into clear summaries that explain trends, changes, exceptions, and business impact for the Fly My Group team.
• Maintain calculation logic, filters, metric definitions, and source notes so reporting remains reproducible while supporting group airfare and traveler operations.
• Support ad hoc analysis requests while protecting confidential business and customer information.

Requirements

• Relevant analytical training or practical experience; analyst-level experience is preferred for associate roles.
• Strong spreadsheet skills and familiarity with SQL, BI, reporting, or visualization tools.
• Comfort working with large datasets and checking calculations, filters, joins, and source quality.
• Ability to explain analytical findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving, documentation, and attention-to-detail skills.
• A pre-employment background check is required.

Pay

$71,500 - $80,000 per year

Schedule

Full-time, 100% remote position within the United States.
