Key Responsibilities
- Set ups contracts and task orders in Costpoint ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.
- Administers broad range of contract types to include firm fixed price, cost reimbursement, and time and material contracts.
- Advise and support Project Managers in monitoring contract performance to ensure cost and technical objectives are met and recommend appropriate solutions to resolve issues.
- Maintain current knowledge of relevant contractual procedures and practices.
- Afford assistance in validating monthly Invoices, to include aligning billing to available funding as prioritized by funding type.
- Develop requirements and spend plans to assist in managing the execution and forecasting of contract funding.
- Perform contract closeouts, as assigned.
- Independently review and negotiate non-disclosure and teaming agreements in support of proposal competitions and ongoing contract activities.
- Implement best practices to provide efficient and quality work to Project teams to ensure smooth project and program management.
- Facilitate the onboarding of all new employees to the contract, which includes:
- Facilitation of contract onboarding paperwork
- Coordination of Costpoint additions and IT permissions
- Development of a standard operating procedure for onboarding paperwork (FAQ, instructions for each form, etc.)
- Development and maintenance of a list/database of all government or external contractor web-based systems & POCs to gain access (e.g. NSERC, MISIL, NEPS, etc.)
- Schedule and attend leadership/client tag-up meetings and take meeting minutes.
- Record and track action items to closure using MS Planner.
- Collect, compile, and format inputs for monthly status reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in business administration or a related business discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, professional training or work experience.
- 2 years of industry experience with Federal Government Contracting, specifically DoD and Civilian Agencies.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), Power BI, and SharePoint.
- Ability to exercise good judgment in safeguarding confidential or sensitive information.
- Must be organized, detail oriented and demonstrate strong time management skills and be able to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects with limited supervision in a fast paced environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to manage changing work efforts and shifting priorities.
- Must be able to develop and maintain professional relationships with peers, suppliers and customers, and contribute to a professional work environment by demonstrating integrity, teamwork and a positive attitude.
- Costpoint experience preferred.
- Active DoW Secret Clearance or have the ability to obtain one.
