Responsibilities
- Conduct background research on AI policy developments, committee activities, and AI governance trends;
- Draft memos and briefing decks;
- Support event planning for Hill briefings, donor meetings, and virtual webinars;
- Aid with travel, scheduling, and expense tracking;
- Maintain CRM data and contact databases;
- Draft social-media posts, newsletters, and website updates;
- Proofread policy briefs;
- Monitor breaking AI news and flag urgent developments for senior staff;
- Provide administrative support to the Executive Director and senior leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Public Policy, Political Science, Computer Science, or related field;
- Strong writing and analytical abilities; proficiency with Google Workspace;
- Interest in AI, technology policy, or national-security issues;
- People-person with strong interpersonal skills;
- Self-directed initiator with an upbeat, whatever-it-takes attitude.

Compensation
$55,000 – $75,000
