About the role
Scheck Hillel School is experiencing exciting growth and is looking to build a pool of talented Judaic Studies educators for its upper school (grades 6th-12th). While there is currently no immediate opening, the school encourages interested candidates to express their interest.
Responsibilities
- Create a nurturing yet challenging learning environment for students.
- Teach Judaic Studies courses in an Upper school setting (grades 6-12).
- Demonstrate strong knowledge of pedagogical practices and learning theories.
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in education or a related field.
- At least 3 years of teaching experience in an Upper school setting (grades 6-12).
- A valid teaching certification is preferred.
Qualifications
A Master's degree is preferred.
Skills
Candidates should possess strong knowledge of pedagogical practices and learning theories.
