About the role

Scheck Hillel Community School is a large Orthodox Jewish community school in North Miami Beach, Florida. They are seeking an experienced full-time Lower School Judaic Studies/Hebrew Teacher for the 2020-2027 school year.

Responsibilities

- Teach Elementary Judaic Studies/Hebrew Language - Demonstrate fluency in Hebrew - Possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree - Exhibit strong classroom management, differentiation, and organizational skills - Work collaboratively and proficiently with instructional technology - Show flexibility and adaptability in a demanding environment - Have experience teaching Judaic Studies in an Orthodox setting, advanced degree, or Orthodox Rabbinic Ordination preferred - Have experience with Tal Am and Educator certification is a plus

Requirements

- At least 3-5 years of teaching experience - Fluent Hebrew proficiency - Eligible to work in the United States
