About the role

Scheck Hillel Community School is seeking an experienced full-time Lower School Judaic Studies/Hebrew Teacher for the 2020-2027 school year. Located in North Miami Beach, Florida, this position is open to candidates with 3-5 years of teaching experience, fluency in Hebrew, a minimum of a bachelor’s degree, and a strong background in classroom management and differentiated instruction.

Responsibilities

- Teach Elementary Judaic Studies/Hebrew Language - Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a demanding environment - Develop positive community relations - Collaborate effectively within a team - Proficient with instructional technology

Requirements

- Advanced degree and/or Orthodox Rabbinic Ordination preferred - Experience teaching Judaic Studies in an Orthodox environment - Experience teaching Tal Am and Educator certification a plus

Qualifications

- Fluent Hebrew - Bachelor’s degree - Excellent classroom management and differentiation skills - Strong organizational abilities
