JROTC Non-Commissioned Officer
Responsibilities
- Adapts classroom materials to fit individual learning plans within established lesson plans.
- Conducts developmental and subject-specific assessments to evaluate student competencies and develop personalized learning strategies.
- Communicates student progress, expectations, and improvement strategies to parents and guardians.
- Evaluates students’ progress towards set goals, providing feedback to students, parents, and administrators.
- Collaborates with school staff, parents, community resources, and support personnel to enhance student outcomes and achieve classroom objectives.
- Oversees assistant teachers, student teachers, and volunteers to ensure effective classroom programs and meet individual student needs.
- Teaches academic subjects to improve student success through a defined course of study.
- Manages student behavior to ensure a safe and optimal learning environment, including during field trips.
- Prepares and maintains documentation such as grades, attendance records, and meeting minutes for accountability and compliance.
- Handles emergencies and responds to inquiries from various stakeholders to maintain safety and provide necessary information or direction.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- Non Commissioned Certification/License in the assigned teaching field.
- Maintains all licenses and certifications.
- Criminal Justice Fingerprint Background Clearance.
