Jr Web Developer

Overview

Incite Tax is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Web Developer to support, build, and maintain our websites and digital ecosystem. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to write clean code, troubleshoot issues, optimize front-end performance, and help integrate web tools and automations.

Key Responsibilities

• Website Maintenance & Content Updates: Maintain and organize site structure — pages, forms, menus, and media assets. Make content and layout updates to web and landing pages, including copy edits, image swaps, and layout adjustments, using clean HTML and CSS within our CMS.
• Quality Assurance & Testing: Test and verify pages and integrations across browsers and devices after every update, so nothing breaks in production.
• SEO & Performance Audits: Run regular technical SEO and site speed audits, implement fixes, and maintain audit logs.
• Automations & Integrations: Build, monitor, and document workflow automations (Zapier, webhooks, basic API/CRM connections). Every active automation should have clear ownership and current documentation.
• Analytics & Reporting: Compile website performance data from analytics and CRM tools into recurring summaries for leadership.
• Monitoring & Escalation: Watch for anomalies in site performance and automation failures, resolve what you can, and escalate what you can't — quickly and clearly.
• AI Tools & Emerging Tech: Support the maintenance and upkeep of company AI tools and integrations, including access, billing, and functionality.
• IT Collaboration: Partner with the IT team on technical support, system updates, and troubleshooting as needed.
• Troubleshooting & Bug Fixes: Identify, debug, and resolve front-end code bugs, layout breaks, or automation failures; escalate complex technical issues as needed.
• Continuous Improvement: Look for ways to make our processes faster, cleaner, and more accurate — and speak up about them.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in web development, front-end engineering, or a related technical role
• Foundational knowledge in HTML/CSS, familiarity with CMS platforms required (WordPress)
• Understanding of SEO best practices and performance auditing tools
• Experience with web analytics and CRM tools (Google Analytics)
• Experience with workflow automation tools (Zapier)
• Basic understanding of cross-browser and device testing
• Proactive mindset with a willingness to flag issues without being asked
• Experience collaborating with IT or technical teams is a plus
• Familiarity with AI/Machine Learning is a plus
