About the role

As a Junior Web Developer, you'll play an important role in supporting and enhancing the company's websites and ecommerce platforms while working alongside and providing day-to-day support to the Senior Web Developer. You'll contribute to front-end development, content-driven site updates, troubleshooting, QA testing, documentation, and ongoing platform maintenance to help deliver a seamless digital experience for customers. Working within our modern headless web and commerce ecosystem, you'll gain hands-on experience with technologies including BigCommerce, Contentstack, Netlify, Salesforce, Epicor Kinetic, and related integrations. This role is ideal for an early-career developer who is eager to learn, collaborate with IT, Marketing, and external partners, and grow their technical skills while making a meaningful impact on high-visibility digital platforms.

What You'll Do

  • Assist with basic integrations, API-connected features, and data flows involving BigCommerce, Contentstack, Salesforce, Epicor Kinetic, and other platforms under senior guidance
  • Participate in code reviews, follow established coding standards, and contribute clean, maintainable code aligned with security, performance, accessibility, and SEO best practices
  • Troubleshoot production issues, document findings, and support timely resolution of defects or site incidents
  • Share on-call hours for triage and resolution of production incidents
  • Maintain technical documentation, deployment notes, support procedures, and knowledge base materials to strengthen team continuity and backup coverage
  • Stay current on web development trends and proactively build skills across the company's website and ecommerce technology stack

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Development, or related field; equivalent hands-on experience, bootcamp training, certifications, or portfolio work may also be considered
  • 1–3 years of web development experience, internship experience, or a strong portfolio demonstrating practical front-end development skills
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and modern front-end development practices
  • Exposure to React, Next.js, Git, APIs, headless CMS concepts, ecommerce platforms, or JAMstack deployment patterns preferred
  • Familiarity with platforms such as BigCommerce, Contentstack, Netlify, Salesforce, or ERP integrations is a plus, but not required
  • Ability to test, debug, document, and communicate technical issues clearly with developers, business stakeholders, and external partners
  • Strong attention to detail and an interest in web performance, accessibility, SEO, analytics, and user experience
  • Curious, coachable, and eager to learn from senior developers while taking ownership of assigned tasks
  • Comfortable working predominantly on-site in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with IT, Marketing, ecommerce, and external implementation partners
