Jr. Web Developer

CGI Federal is seeking a Jr. Web Developer to support front-end and mid-tier development for the Enterprise Logistics Management System (ELMS), a major Department of Defense enterprise application managing over 80 million assets valued at more than $141 billion. This role is based in Harrisburg, PA.

About the role

The Jr. Web Developer will build, enhance, and maintain web-based interfaces and client/server applications for ELMS, which supports property accountability, fleet management, real property, retail warehouse operations, internal use software, and financial reporting. The role involves collaborating with internal teams and customers to gather requirements, develop web pages, port legacy functionality into modern browser-based environments, and support day-to-day sustainment with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Develop middle to high-end client/server-based applications supporting ELMS functionality.
• Design, develop, and maintain web pages and assist with porting legacy or client-based applications into modern web-based interfaces.
• Interface with clients and system users to gather and refine requirements.
• Perform assigned development and web design tasks with minimal supervision.
• Support ongoing updates, enhancements, and testing activities associated with ELMS sustainment.

Requirements

• Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.
• Associate degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• One (1) year of experience in scripting, software development, and web page design and development.
• Experience with SharePoint Online (SPO), DreamWeaver, or similar applications.
• Experience utilizing HTML, XML, PERL, and/or Apache.
• Strong customer relation skills.
• US citizenship and a Secret clearance are required due to the nature of the work.

Desired Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to support web development within large enterprise environments.
• Familiarity with ELMS-relevant Microsoft platform components such as IIS, .NET, or SharePoint integration.
• Ability to work collaboratively with developers, testers, and analysts within a structured DoD sustainment environment.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Pay

A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this role in the U.S. is $58,000.00 – $123,800.00.
