POSITION PURPOSE

Responsible for oversight and review of Commercial Loan documentation for the Commercial Lending groups within the franchise. Tasks include collaboration with members of the team which handle document preparation, preclose review, loan funding, and onboarding.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

  • Absorbs responsibility and ensures loan documents are created accurately both internally and by approved attorneys in a timely manner.
  • Detailed collateral perfection knowledge of real estate, commercial & industrial lending.
  • Maintains daily workflow activity to ensure service level commitments are met.
  • A thorough knowledge and understanding of departmental policies, procedures, guidelines, and regulations; stays current with regulatory and market developments.
  • Performance measurements are comprised of documentation requirements, organizational skills, and involve a professional attitude with collaborative relationships with the lending staff in the banking centers.
  • Performs other duties, tasks and special projects as required, assigned, or directed.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education/Certification: High school graduate or equivalent, associate or bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred or combination of equivalent education and banking experience. A minimum 3-5 years commercial lending, title company/escrow, or loan servicing experience required.
  • Required Knowledge: Loan Documents, Real Estate, Commercial & Industrial
  • Experience Required: Experienced with complex commercial transactions/structures, evaluating and preparation of loan documents.
  • Skills/Abilities: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent analytical and complex problem-solving skills, strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize and delegate work, decisive and detail oriented.

  • Talking: Especially where one must frequently convey detailed or important instructions or ideas accurately, loudly, or quickly.
  • Average Hearing: Able to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information.
  • Repetitive Motion: Movements frequently and regularly required using the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
  • Average Visual Abilities: Average, ordinary, visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents or products, or operate machinery.
  • Physical Strength: Sedentary work; sitting most of the time. Exerts up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally.

WORKING CONDITIONS

No: No hazardous or significantly unpleasant conditions (such as in a typical office).

MENTAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS OF THIS POSITION

  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply logical or scientific thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusions. Able to interpret a variety of technical instructions and can deal with multiple variables.
  • Mathematics Ability: Ability to compute discount, interest, profit and loss; commission markup and selling price; and ratio, proportion, and percentage. Able to perform very simple algebra.
  • Language Ability: Ability to read periodicals, journals, manuals, dictionaries, thesauruses, and encyclopedias.
