About the role
Sell Caterpillar products and services to customers in the general construction industry.
Essential Functions
- Identify and pursue sales opportunities within the general construction market.
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Present product features and benefits to potential customers.
- Manage the sales cycle from initial contact through closing the sale.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Proficiency in using CRM software.
- Knowledge of Caterpillar products and construction industry trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant sales experience.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
