About the role

Sell Caterpillar products and services to customers in the general construction industry.

Essential Functions

  • Identify and pursue sales opportunities within the general construction market.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Present product features and benefits to potential customers.
  • Manage the sales cycle from initial contact through closing the sale.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software.
  • Knowledge of Caterpillar products and construction industry trends.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant sales experience.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
