JR. COPYWRITER

About the role

The Junior Copywriter will join our in-house creative team, working out of our global headquarters in Needham, Massachusetts. This role is ideal for someone who loves to transform complex technical innovations into engaging, human stories across various platforms.

Responsibilities

• Craft multi-channel copy: Write compelling, clear, and brand-consistent copy across TikTok, Meta, email campaigns, DTC website pages, Amazon listings, retail signage, and product packaging.
• Collaborate with Art Partners: Brainstorm with junior and mid-level designers and art directors to develop fresh, platform-native creative ideas that address real business challenges.
• Translate tech into human: Take raw product data and engineering features from our R&D labs and present them in a way that resonates with consumers.
• Embrace an AI-native workflow: Utilize LLMs like ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini to brainstorm angles, generate variations, summarize research, and speed up the creative process.
• Maintain brand voice and tone: Ensure consistency in the unique brand voices across all touchpoints within the SharkNinja portfolio.
• Own your work: Manage multiple fast-turning projects simultaneously, incorporating feedback constructively and iterating quickly while maintaining your creative spark.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of copywriting experience, including portfolio school graduates, agency interns, or junior in-house writers.
• A strong portfolio showcasing conceptual thinking, short-form storytelling, and a clear understanding of how copy adapts to different platforms.
• Flawless grammar skills and attention to detail, combined with the ability to write conversationally rather than academically.
• A curious and tech-forward mindset, eager to learn new tools and systems, viewing AI as a brainstorming partner that enhances creativity.
• Adaptable and proactive in fast-paced environments, thriving under tight deadlines and able to quickly pivot based on feedback.
