Jr Copywriter
About the Role
We are seeking a creative, strategic, and detail-oriented Junior Copywriter to join our social creative content team. This role is responsible for developing compelling, on-brand copy across various formats, including social video scripts, static content, email campaigns, and integrated marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate understands how to tailor messaging for different platforms and audiences while maintaining a consistent brand voice. This position reports to the Senior Copywriter and is a hybrid role, requiring three days a week in our downtown Los Angeles office (Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays).
Responsibilities
- Write engaging, platform-specific scripts and hooks for short-form and long-form video (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube, YouTube Shorts, Meta Ads)
- Develop copy for static posts, carousels, captions, and digital ads
- Write and optimize email campaigns, including subject lines, body copy, and CTAs
- Contribute to brand voice development and ensure consistency across all touchpoints
- Partner with designers, strategists, and marketers to brainstorm and execute creative concepts
- Review and refine copy to ensure clarity, accuracy, and alignment with brand standards
Skills & Experience
- 2–3+ years of copywriting experience, preferably in marketing, advertising, or media
- Strong portfolio showcasing work across social, video, blog, email, and campaign copy
- Deep understanding of social media platforms and content trends
- Ability to write in multiple tones and styles (and for multiple brands) while maintaining brand consistency
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to present ideas to clients
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Working knowledge of Slack, ClickUp, and Microsoft Office a plus

Pay
The expected base salary range for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 annually, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications. In addition to base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based bonuses and other compensation programs.
