Responsibilities

  • Employ knowledge of modeling and simulation, operations research techniques, and military operations to inform a variety of Secretary of the Air Force (SAF) focused analyses.
  • Solve highly complex problems using statistical analysis, parametric and non-parametric analysis, modeling and simulation, and data science techniques.
  • Develop and execute analytical studies and methods to provide insights for force structure, capability acquisition, and force employment decisions.
  • Create and execute campaign-level representations of U.S., allied, and adversary forces executing warfighting concepts of operation in STORM.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Software Engineering, Operations Research, Data Science, or other technically-related areas of study.
  • 1+ years of experience in the analysis, development, and implementation of software, study planning, and execution.
  • Strong desire to expand modeling, simulation, and analysis expertise.
  • Acive TS/SCI clearance.
  • Able to work full-time at the SAF/SA client site (Pentagon).

Desired

  • Master's degree.
  • Experience with the Synthetic Theater Operations Research Model (STORM).
  • Experience working with Python, R, MySQL/DuckDB, C++.
  • Knowledge of Space Operations and their contribution to the joint warfight.

Qualifications
