About the role
Responsible for framing metal studs and installing drywall in construction projects. Works closely with carpenters and other tradespeople.
Responsibilities
- Install metal studs and drywall according to blueprints and specifications.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and building codes.
- Work collaboratively with other tradespeople to ensure smooth project flow.
- Perform quality checks on installed work.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- At least 2 years of related construction experience.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in using power tools and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Skills
- Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations.
- Experience with framing techniques and drywall installation.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plans.
