Pape’ Machinery, a premier capital equipment dealer in the West, is seeking a Journeyman Field Technician to join their Construction & Forestry Division team in Kent, WA. About the role

As a Journeyman Field Technician, you will work on construction and forestry equipment at customer locations to ensure optimal performance and uptime. You’ll travel the area in a fully loaded Pape’ service vehicle, perform high-quality repairs, and interact with customers to deliver reliable solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair all brands of heavy diesel equipment in the field.
  • Perform top-notch maintenance and repairs to maximize equipment uptime.
  • Interact with customers and provide exceptional service.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience diagnosing and repairing heavy diesel equipment.
  • Basic computer knowledge.
  • Self-motivation and ability to work with little or no supervision.
  • Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
  • Class B CDL preferred.
  • Must provide own tools.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test.

Pay

$37.92–$56.89 per hour, depending on experience.
