Journeyman Equipment Mechanic

Ideal Candidate Profile

This position requires a self-starting, self-motivated individual who can perform, arrange for, track and oversee the repair of small and large distribution utility equipment including gas and diesel powered, hydraulically operated digger/derricks, personnel buckets and other construction equipment with minimum supervision. A focus on cost and limiting end user down time is a priority. Input of computer based maintenance records is an expectation. The ability to easily adapt and focus the job scheduling priorities is highly desirable.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Must have training and/or be an experienced qualified automotive or mechanized construction equipment mechanic.
• Successful completion of standardized qualifying examination (Company provided).
• Must obtain a Class A CDL within 90 days of start date (completed written and driving tests).
